Rules
adhog is a public leaderboard of adverts. You are not buying impressions or clicks, you are buying a position above everyone who paid less. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
How ranking works
- Bids are whole US dollars. A dollar is the minimum, and you move in whole dollars from there.
- Rank is the bid and nothing else. No quality score, no relevance, no editorial.
- Bidding less than the top price still gets you on the board, at whatever place that bid can take.
- Equal bids keep the order they arrived in. Earlier bid sits higher.
- Already on the board? Send the same link with a higher bid and that entry moves back up, rather than listing you twice.
What you can put up there
- An mp4, webm, png, jpg, gif or webp. Ten megabytes at the very most.
- Video plays automatically, on a loop, with the sound off. Browsers insist on the sound being off, not us.
- No pornography, no gore, no chat or invite links, no attempts to look like a system message.
- Anything vile gets pulled and you do not get your money back.
Payment and chargebacks
- By paying you confirm you have read the price and the rules above, and you authorise the charge.
- Being outbid is not a fault — it is the product. It is not grounds for a dispute.
- Something actually wrong? Email hello@adhog.lol before raising a chargeback and we will sort it.
- Nothing here removes any right you have that cannot legally be signed away.
After you pay
- Your advert goes up the moment the payment clears, and everyone who paid less drops below you.
- There are no refunds for being pushed down. You paid for a position, not for keeping it.
- Nothing ever falls off the board. Being outbid moves you down, it does not remove you.
- Clicks go straight to the link you gave, with nothing added to it.
